Arms Up!

Melody was truly the heart and the soul of our group of friends - she was the friend you wanted at the party - the friend that brought the fun and enthusiasm and joy! She just had a presence and a light about her - it made me - and I think all of us - want to be close enough to her so that we could have some of that light shining on us and some of her energy and zest for life seeping into us ! And it was contagious - we really would be energized when we were with her ! ! She loved Cardio drumming and along with Linda, Bonnie and Kelly she managed to make so many others love it also and be willing to wait well over an hour to get a “spot” in their classes. I know Mel wanted us to get more than simply an hour of excercise- she wanted us to form a real community centered on drumming ! And that was certainly accomplished! I will miss Mel - as so many will - beyond what I can express in words - I know that I was indeed incredibly blessed to have met her- to have enjoyed many memorable and fun times with her and to call her a friend for almost three years ! Rest in peace Mel! Rest in peace - you will be remembered - we will talk often about you - we will share memories that are now so dear to us - and we will look at the pictures and the videos that we are so fortunate to have because you never missed an opportunity to snap one ! How could we have known you would be taken from our sight so soon and so quickly - and that these memories would become so very very valuable ! Arms up to you my friend ! Annette
