A Memory of Melody
Melody first joined my cardio drumming class a couple of years ago, & her enthusiasm was instantly unforgettable. She was always smiling & laughing—especially since “there are no wrong moves but accidental solos.”🤭
At first, she wasn’t sure about teaching, but with encouragement, she and her friends Bonnie, Linda & later Kelly, went on to launch three cardio drumming classes & a Facebook page to share her passion. I was so proud of her & her friends for sharing their love of cardio drumming.
Melody also had a special talent for breaking tubs— the 1st one in my class & then 6 or 7 of them since! I’ll always remember her laughter when she put a hole in one, and I’ll always think of her every time it happens again.
From cardio drumming cruises to on ship karaoke, the piano bar with that special menu that lit up, occasional dance nights at Sawgrass & leading classes with her friends, Melody brought joy everywhere she went.
I love you, Melody, and I will miss your beautiful smile always.
